I apologize for the hiatus! Life, you see can get unbelievably hectic with a baby and managing work and home is proving to be much more stressful than I realized. To cut a long story short, I had issues with my previous nanny , but now I am moving on with my current nanny who is showing a marked positive influence on my son at the moment. Peace for mom who can now concentrate on her hobbies like blogging!
To start of, I would like to start with a lighter post to ease myself back into blogging! My in-laws did not give me a mangalsutra chain during my wedding... So it was up to me to invest in it :) And I have invested in not one, but two... While I do own a longer one for functions that I shall show to you much later, I would like to show you the pictures of the one that I wear on a daily basis.
This one is a chain made of gold and black beads that sits pretty at the base of my neck when I wear it. I used to have a gold pendant for this - and it was recently upgraded to a nakshatra stone pendant made of Zircon stones:) making it more precious for me to show to you as soon as possible!

ReplyDeleteThe Mangal sutra thing is not done into DH's family, women just wear whatever they want around their neck, whcih is great for me because I like changing necklaces all the time :)
Yours is lovely, I love that pendant.
I still change necklaces all the time :) I don't wear this daily either... But to keep appearances and when the mood strikes - I wear this more often on a daily basis than the longer traditional one :) I should share the pictures of that as well..
DeleteI was right here! But long story cut short - the previous nanny made me lose more sleep and shed more tears than my son who has an erratic sleep schedule ! The new nanny so far is great! Yay for me!
